Event Description

Sylvia is from Mexico City, Mexico. Sylvia is what is known as a “Tamalera”, famous for making her tamales all the way from 18th to 24th street. Not just any kind of Tamales, of course. These are the type of tamales you’d expect from a woman who has been making them for over 50 years. From Sweet Tamales made with fresh strawberries or pineapple, to the savory pulled pork and chipotle tamales that all of Sylvia’s neighbors know her for.

March 4th, 2016, from 6-9pm Sylvia will be making 6 different kinds of Tamales including strawberry, pineapple, pulled pork, chorizo, salsa verde y pollo, and a surprise Finale Tamale.

Space is available for 8 guests. Event cost is 20$

Sylvia is a 5 Star Rated DinnerCrasher Host.
